High school students always ask questions like, “Where should I study?” or “What profession should I choose for my future?” After talking to several students, we decided to have a special meeting for me where we could answer their questions to our best abilities. We invited a several people from our church: an experienced manager in machinery production, a logistic worker from an international organization, a missionary, and a Pastor/Seminary President. Each speaker shared about their professional growth, the successes, and obstacles. We talked about colleges in Moldova and abroad and the reality of job market in Moldova. The students we encouraged to do an extra research for themselves, and, most importantly, rely on God in their future profession. Some students who showed up were not believers, so it was a good time to share our faith with them as well. We praise God for the opportunities He gives us to reach out to the youth in our city! Vlada C. sharing about her experience of university education and work in international organizations. The importance of a resume and experience including internships and volunteering. Vlada currently works for International Organization of Migration as logistics specialist.

The first class of the semester at Moldova Bible Seminary was taught by the long-time friend of MBS Pastor Dave Roberts from Grace Bible Church (Georgetown, TX). http://gbcgt.org Dave serves as adjunct professor at MBS and teaches Worldviews, Spiritual Formation and surveys of New Testament Epistles. "It is always a blessing to teach at Moldova Bible Seminary. The students are not only eager to learn, but vitally interested in their own spiritual growth. It has been ten years since I started my teaching at MBS and through the years I’ve been able to see students blossom into ministers through the ministry of the seminary. They are students of the highest quality and sometimes I’m not sure who learns more; them or myself. It is always an enriching experience. It has been a great pleasure for my home church in Georgetown TX to partner with this incredible ministry that is raising up a whole new generation of church leaders and people who will influence Moldova for Christ. What a privilege to be part of that!" - Dave Roberts Inessa (Class of 2015)"Seminary is the place where you receive a lot of knowledge. The knowledge ABOUT God can help you in different situations. The knowledge OF God brings you a true freedom. Freedom is what I had received during Dave's class. During this class God has change my understanding of Himself. During the last two weeks God has been revealing himself to me in a special way. Prof. Dave did not teach us as much as he was pointing us to Christ. We looked at the Colossians and Ephesians through a new lens. We often come to God with our request and needs trying to show the Almighty God how we think He should complete our lives. But as true Father He sees our real needs. Before this class I prayed about different things without understanding that my true need is freedom that Christ can give. During this class I learned to enjoy my relationship with the Father. Not only thirty minutes in the morning, but every minute throughout the day in His presence." Maxim (Class of 2017)
A team from Kishinev Bible Church has prepared a program for children from villages in the south-west of Moldova. The ninety children gathered and their parents were presented with a play "The Tale of Three Trees" that tells of dreams of greatness of three trees. These trees became (1) the manger where Jesus was born, (2) the boat that Jesus rode and calmed the sea in and (3) the cross where Jesus was crucified. The Gospel was presented and unexpecting children received gifts collected and packed by KBC church fellowship. Fifty-five more gifts were passed to the pastor of the local church who serve in several villages. He delivered the gifts to the families with disabled children in the villages. Traditionally, Moldovan Eastern Orthodox believers celebrate Christmas on January 7th according to Julian calendar. This outreach was planned to coincide with wonderful celebration. We are very excited at KBC Ministries that the translation and publishing of an awesome study in worship written by Ray Jones with Dino Senesi has been complete. This was a project that took over a year and a half. The study is a unique practical approach to becoming a passionate worshiper of Jesus Christ. The study is titled "Will You Worship?" Nathan, a co-laborer in the Gospel and brother passed away in to the presence of our Lord. Father, pastor, police detective and a great man of God will be remembered for years to come as he left a mark on so many lives. Nathan had a lasting impact on the lives of many in Moldova, USA and across the globe.
The guest speaker Dr. James Cecy has shared that "The unholy world will not come to know Jesus if it is summoned by an unholy church." The need is to begin the restoration of purity in the hearts of believers and families. The seminar gathered over a hundred people from over twenty churches in Chisinau. Some traveled from other town in Moldova as far as 70 miles. |
