The retirement system in Molotov has been failing since the fall of the USSR. Many elderly, veterans and pensioners are barely surviving. The "bright future" promised by the communist ideologists has left them with very scarce means for survival. Many times they cannot even buy basic groceries.
In partnership with Fannin Terrace Baptist Church (Midland, TX) and generous hearts who provided necessary funds for groceries 270 packages were distributed to elderly at new KBC church location and by mobile groups. As the opportunity came the Gospel was presented as the hunger is not only physical, but spiritual due to decades of atheist and religious propaganda.
The follow-up with over three hundred new families will be a huge ministry development for KBC Elderly Ministry Team in the days to come. There is a need for more food packages. Contributions for this packages can be provided through KBC Ministries PayPal or by sending a check to KBC Ministires.

The Food bags delivered provided each family with about two weeks worth of food and included canned meat, cooking oil, tea, and staples like rice, oats, buckwheat totaling eleven items. One food bag is approximately $10.
